• What does LET’S READ stand for?

Let’s Emulate The Seerah- Reflect, Educate, Apply, and Disseminate. This is a competition to learn, love, and live the Seerah and Mission of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S).
“Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.” [33:21]

•  When is the competition going to be held?

The online part of the competition is going to be held during 9:30 am Eastern Standard Time (EST) to 3:00 pm EST on Saturday September 16. The  entertainment and Award ceremony will be held on Sunday September 17 (specific information will follow).

• How do I register?

Please visit the registration page.

• Is there a cost for registration?

Yes. Registration for one participant will be $20, registration for two will be $35, three will be $45, and registration for four or more participants will be $50. Payment can be made through Paypal or Zelle. If the cost is a financial burden for your family, please send us an email (info@lets-read.org). If you are interested, you will be able to attend the competition. 

For overseas participants, please complete your registration information online, submit it and then coordinate with your school representative for the fee (agreed upon amount to be paid in local currency).

• How can I be sure that my registration went through?
  You should receive a confirmation email that includes all of the information submitted on registration (may be in Spam folder).

• Where will the event be held?
  Both days will be held fully online on Zoom.

• What kind of prize is there?

Every participant is a winner, because you are learning, loving, and living the Prophetic Seerah. As soon as you are in the race for goodness, you win as Allah (swt) promised. May Allah (swt) accept all our efforts. Previously, we have given trophies, books, medals, and certificates. However, in the past few years due to the hybrid/online model, the awards were $40 (1st place), $30 (second place), and $20 (third place), along with certificates. We will let you know of the awards this year soon.
